Very pleasant stay with nice and tidy rooms. We were very pleased with the reception service - special thanks to Nuno. He proactively helped us to switch rooms despite the hotel being completely full (with the manager on the line, so special thanks to them as well). Very lovely and perfectly managed garden. A bit of walk to the city center, but with the bus stop a front of the door, so not a big deal. We would definitely stay here again next time visiting Madeira.

We missed our connection flight and arrived to the hotel in the middle of the night. Despite the time, Nuno welcomed us with a smile and very patient explanations and made the start of our trip in Madeira very pleasant. Also the rest of the staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beautiful (and includes a small kitchen and a coffee machine). The hotel's garden is gorgeous and has a nice panoramic view of the sea and was the perfect place for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent with large variety. It is highly recommended.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Amazing hotel. In a quiet area. Breakfast are amazing, super delicious. I must say service in this hotel is TOP! Nuno you are the best! We will come back and bring our friends

The staff are super friendly, it has an underground car park. The breakfast was brilliant. A steep walk back to it, but you'd be hard pressed to find a hotel that doesn't have that!

The staff and location were top notch - not to mention the most amazing breakfast IÂ¿ve had on the island after staying at several other hotels. Oh, and canÂ¿t forget the views!!!

The hotel is within a beautiful garden, with a view on the town and harbour. The building is full of light. The rooms have wide windows, very airy, spacious. For the days you come back late from a hike, there is even a small kitchen in the room, for emergency cooking. The floors are wooden (no carpet) therefore very clean, great for the ones who are allergic to carpet dust. There is a garage included in the room rate which is a rare case in Funchal. The breakfast is lovely, and rich, all à la carte, they prepare fresh per order. A selection of fresh juice, omelettes, pancakes, cakes, … But I kept the best for the last. The staff is super friendly, kind and helpful. (Hands down, Nuno has a great knowledge of history of everything) The beautiful ladies who prepare the breakfast fill you with joy and comfort. Superfriendly staff, very nice breakfast, lovely garden, quiet neighbourhood so close to the old city... So glad we found this place. I would really recommend it!!
